There is so much meaning behind the name "The Threaded Bee". I wanted a name that would capture some of the things I love dearly - bees, flowers, the color yellow, and well... thread! Between the embroidery I do and my recent ventures into sewing, I wanted a shop name that could work for all my many endeavors. So after lots of brainstorming, research (aka talking it out with my best friends) and a couple of late nights laying in bed, The Threaded Bee was born.
I'm so glad you're here - my little shop and I cannot thank you enough!
why the threaded bee?
I began embroidering when I was 36 weeks pregnant with my first child and wanted to add something special to my ring sling. I quickly fell in love with the beauty of embroidery, and slowly started doing more and more.
Since that fateful day at Hobby Lobby when I bought a hoop, four thread colors and some needles, I've been able to embroider countless slings, carriers, bows, bibs, shirts and so much more. I've also added handmade items to the shop (thanks to my trusty sewing machine, Jade) and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
I have loved getting to create special, one-of-a-kind items for people, and most of all I love getting so share something I love with YOU!
